The Right Revd Martin Seeley, the Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich is delighted to announce that The Revd Chris Childs, Rector of Combs and Finborough benefice has been appointed Team Vicar to the benefice of The Forest Heath Team Ministry, with special responsibility for the parishes of Dalham, Gazeley, Higham, Kentford and Moulton.

The Bishop would like to thank all those involved in the process of Chris’ appointment, and he assures you of his prayers.   Please pray for Chris, and his wife Wendy as they prepare for their move and for the people of Chris’ parishes in Combs and Finborough benefice.

A date for Chris’ licencing service will be confirmed in due course. 

Revd John Fulton has recorded a Service of Remembrance featuring the Reading of the Rolls of Honour and Act of Remembrance for our Benefice.

It will be available to watch here on Sunday 8th November.

Sadly the service has had to be cancelled because of the new lockdown measures which come into force on November 5th.
